Sometimes when I get writers block, I turn to poetry to try and find something to write. Quite often a humorous little ditty comes out, like this one that was written about catching a cold... http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/7779262/ode_to_a_cold_a_poem_about_having_a.html I hope you enjoy it.. http://amplify.com/u/a1dn64

These days if you think about going on safari in Africa, it's a very different experience to that experienced by explorers 100 years ago. This article http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/6207732/one_hundred_years_ago_today_11_january.html is based on a newspaper article from January 1911 that describes in detail the vision of a safari party setting off into the jungle. The experience as told by the original journalist is quite amazing, and conjures up an almost magical mental image, making you wish that you too could have been there to experience this event from 100 years ago. http://amplify.com/u/a1dn4i

The origins of mankind are shrouded in mystery. From the Biblical creation, to Darwin's theory of evolution, but why is there no missing link, and what is the significance of ancient stories of all powerful Gods, and a scattering of mysterious places and objects around the world. Is it possible that there is more to man's most ancient past than the history books told us? If you believe that there might be, but haven't read any of the works of Zecharia Sitchin, you might just be surprised to learn some of the secrets that few know about. You can read more about Zecharia Sitchin from this page http://www.squidoo.com/zechariasitchin http://amplify.com/u/a1cnqu
