Sandbanks is a peninsular on the South Coast of England, now home to many wealthy and famous people, rather like Malibu, but back in the 1960's and earlier it was just a collection of houses built on sand dunes. My grandmother lived there in the 1950's and 1960's, and the family had several other houses there too, now sadly all gone.
