The Bournemouth Arts By The Sea Festival

The Bournemouth Arts By The Sea festival was a great success this year, boosting customers for a number of local businesses and encouraging tourists to visit this seaside town, according to The Bournemouth Echo.

The Arts By The Sea festival ran from September through to mid October, and featured 74 events, many of which sold out.

One of the events, a Robert Louis Stevenson walk (the famous author lived in Westbourne for some years), usually attracts about 20 visitors, but this time 120 turned up for this event.

The events which are held in a number of locations around the town, including the sea front and lower gardens, are a great boost to tourism in the area and a great reason to visit Bournemouth at the end of the summer season.
