I updated my April Jokes lens on Squidoo just now, adding some funny pictures between the daily jokes. I know it's coming up to the end of July now, but jokes are jokes - if you haven't seen my April Jokes lens yet, now is a great time to drop by and see what my Daily Jokes lenses are all about.

My Pet Peeves lens at Squidoo has been doing well, but firstly a news article yesterday about people giving their children ridiculous names, and then an almost daily Pet Peeve I have about roundabout challenged people, prompted me to add a couple of new modules to the lens. I know that a few of you have left comments for me to say how much you enjoyed my lensography and learning about me, and I do apologise for not having completed it yet. Of course the lens is still not complete, and being a biography too my life isn't complete - far from it hopefully. But tonight I added a few photos from where I grew up, as well as the first part of my time in New Zealand. I hope that you will come visit and let me know what you think. I came out of work tonight, the sky was almost perfect blue, 88 degrees, light breeze, and if my girlfriend had been here, it would have been the perfect evening to head down to the beach for a couple of hours. But, on your own, it's not quite the same is it... So, I got home, having chatted with her on the way, the pool looked really inviting, and nobody there either (I live in a condo with a nice community pool). The guy I rent from was home, I chatted for a bit, got changed ready to go down, then he asked if I could help him with something, which was 10 minutes or less. I looked out of the balcony, and there to the north the horizon was already disappearing under misty clouds, and you could see dark clouds and torrential rain coming down. Looking out the south side, where the pool is, it had already clouded over completely. So I said to myself "SOD IT", got changed back, put some laundry on, cleaned the bathroom, and blow me down if almost an hour later the rain has...
